If you fly for Ryanair, your flying already arrives in your inbox as Verified Flights emails. There is no reason to retype any of it into a logbook. Choppy reads those emails — crew list, flight lines, registrations — and turns them into complete logbook entries, tagged with the right captain and first officer. Two minutes of setup, then it’s automatic. Here’s how.
Method 1 · Forward the email
The zero-effort option. Forward any Verified Flights email to ryanair@choppy-app.com and the flights land in your logbook within a minute — parsed, matched to aircraft, and deduplicated (flights already logged are skipped, never doubled). You can even set up an auto-forward rule in your mail app so it happens without touching anything.
- In Choppy, open More → Airlines → Ryanair and add your email address under Accepted senders — forwards are only accepted from addresses you’ve listed, so nobody else can write to your logbook.
- Save your crew code as Employee ID in your profile — Choppy uses it to find you in each email’s crew list.
- Forward any Verified Flights email to ryanair@choppy-app.com. Done — new flights appear within a minute.
Method 2 · Paste the email
Prefer to stay in the app? Copy the full body of a Verified (or Not Verified) Flights email and paste it into the Ryanair screen in Choppy. Include the crew list and the flight lines — that’s how Choppy tags the correct captain and first officer on each leg. Review the parsed flights and tap import.
Why the crew code matters
Ryanair’s emails list the whole crew. Your crew code (saved as Employee ID in your Choppy profile) is how Choppy knows which seat was yours — so PIC/SIC, PF/PM and the other pilot’s name are all filled correctly, automatically. Set it once, forget it.
Already logged something manually?
No problem. The importer checks every flight against your existing logbook and only adds what’s new — you’ll see a summary like “Added 4 flights” or “Nothing new — those flights were already logged.”

Does this work with Not Verified flights emails?
Yes — the paste method accepts both Verified and Not Verified emails. Verified emails are the cleanest source, but you can paste either and review the parsed flights before importing.
Is forwarding my roster email safe?
Forwards are only accepted from email addresses you have explicitly added to your Accepted senders list in the app, and they are matched to your account alone. Nobody else can add flights to your logbook.
What if some flights were already in my logbook?
The importer deduplicates automatically. Flights already logged are skipped, and you get a summary of exactly what was added.
Does Choppy work for other airlines too?
Yes — Choppy imports published rosters from 80+ airlines in PDF, CSV, XML or TXT format. The Ryanair email pipeline is a dedicated fast path; for other carriers, upload the roster file and review the parsed flights the same way.
